- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [4.29](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1813.4.29)

> Fifth, missing conditions: if the first condition is missing because the object is non-sentient, it is a grave preparatory offense; if the second condition is missing because it is not the realm of the Three Jewels, one incurs a grave preparatory offense; if the third condition is missing, being fundamentally deluded one incurs no offense, while mistaken perception and doubt both incur a preparatory offense; if the fourth condition is missing, because \[wrong\] view is not broken, one incurs a grave preparatory offense; if the fifth condition is missing, because the words have not been uttered or disparate words \[are spoken\], all incur a grave preparatory offense.
