- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.73](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1818.3.73)

> "Śrāvakas" indicates the person. "Adhimāna of definitive certainty" describes the affliction. "Saying of themselves, 'Our vehicle is equal to and no different from the Tathāgata's vehicle'" explains the affliction above. Those who seek the two vehicles claim that the Buddha and those of the two vehicles equally sever all afflictions of the three realms, equally attain the knowledge of exhaustion and non-arising, are equally the three kinds of aśaikṣas, and equally attain remainderless \[nirvāṇa\]. As for "thus grasping invertedly": the Buddha and the two vehicles are actually different. To claim they are the same when they are different is called grasping invertedly.
