佛遺教經論疏節要 1.325

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.325](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1820.1.325)

〔補註〕《楞嚴》云「因定發慧」是也。在定之心不著於物，故云如昇太虛。不著於物斯能照物，故云下見萬象。又如大海澄清，森羅自見。

> \[Supplementary note\] The Śūraṅgama-sūtra says: 'Based on concentration, wisdom arises'—this is what it means. The mind residing in concentration does not attach to things; hence it says 'like ascending to the great void'. Not attaching to things, it is able to illuminate things; hence it says 'looking down to see the myriad phenomena'. Furthermore, it is like the great ocean becoming clear and still: the array of forms naturally becomes visible.
