- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [4.51](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1821.4.51)

> "The verse states... diligence solely pervades wholesome minds": the first three lines present their substance, and the fourth line explains the meaning of 'great.' Now, relying on this treatise, the establishment of the ten universal wholesome-ground factors is based on a single criterion: namely, solely pervading wholesome minds. Although the ten universal-ground factors pervade wholesome minds, they are not solely wholesome minds. Other mental factors are not solely wholesome minds, nor do they pervade wholesome minds; therefore, none of them are called universal wholesome-ground factors.
