# 俱舍論疏 12.5

俱舍論疏 12.5

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [12.5](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1822.12.5)

論「如是分析至如說瞿名」，述名及時極少量也。從三十二字名析至一字名，是名極少。准此，析多名至一名以為極少。即合二字名已上，或無別體、或有別體，義亦無違。如微、金、水、兔、羊、牛等塵，離其體微無別體也。

> On the Śāstra's words, "Analyzing in this way \[...\] as when uttering the name 'go' (ox)": This describes the minimum quantities of name and time. Analyzing from a thirty-two-syllable name down to a single-syllable name is called the absolute minimum of name. By extension, analyzing multiple names down to a single name is taken as the absolute minimum. Thus, when combining two syllables and above, whether there is no separate entity or there is a separate entity, the meaning is not contradictory either way. Just as with the specks of dust of an atom, gold, water, a hare, a sheep, an ox, and so forth, apart from their substantive atoms there is no separate entity.
