- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [13.43](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1822.13.43)

> On the Śāstra's: "Or else, in all ... because moments exist": The author of the Śāstra doubly refutes the assertions of both schools. The non-existence of abiding as cause, as well as dharma and adharma, do not only fail to apply to consciousness, flame, sound, and color: because all conditioned phenomena possess the non-existence of abiding as well as dharma and adharma. Ceasing immediately upon arising without waiting for another cause, because all conditioned phenomena possess moments. Since this agrees with my own \[view\], the original dispute should cease; there is no need for lengthy explanations.
