俱舍論疏 16.95

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [16.95](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1822.16.95)

> The Śāstra \[states\], from "Now, as for a novice" up to "all are named subsequent arising": this explains by pointing to the concrete matter. "Preceptor" is called upādhyāya in Sanskrit. Karmavācanā is translated here as "carrying out the affair." The four resources are: always begging for food, sitting under trees, wearing rag robes, and using fermented urine as medicine. Furthermore, the rest of the manifest and non-manifest karma—such as performing actions, upholding precepts, and so forth—that arise and operate subsequently in reliance upon the earlier maula, are all called pṛṣṭha.
