> On the Śāstra's 'The Abhidharma masters say \[...\] is called great desire': This relates the Abhidharma masters' explanation. The Nyāyānusāra explains: 'Regarding fine and abundant clothing and so forth already obtained, to resent not obtaining twice as fine and twice as much—displaying greater desire in this very respect, wishing for even more superior things, is called discontent. Seeking to obtain fine and abundant clothing and so forth not yet obtained is called great desire. When whatever possessions one has are sufficient to remedy suffering, seeking even more transgresses the wholesome factors—this is the meaning here. As a sūtra states: "When one's body is at ease in accordance with whatever is obtained, this makes the mind easy to concentrate and enables one to preach the Dharma." Therefore, seeking things that remedy suffering aids the path; it is not a fault.'
