俱舍論疏 23.11

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [23.11](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1822.23.11)

> \[On the \*Śāstra\*’s:\] “The application of mindfulness by intrinsic nature … three kinds of applications of mindfulness,” this takes up the first, intrinsic nature, to explain it. That is, the three wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and cultivating serve as its entity, and these three wisdoms are themselves termed the three applications of mindfulness. Saying “intrinsic nature” distinguishes it from the objective-support and the concomitant; having wisdom as its entity, it is called intrinsic nature. Unlike the concomitant and the objective-support, which are not themselves applications of mindfulness, \[they are so called because they\] mix with the application of mindfulness or serve as its objective-support, receiving the name ‘application of mindfulness’ from its intrinsic nature.
