- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.10](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1822.7.10)

> On the Śāstra's statement: "Namely, desire-realm matter … equal-and-immediate condition": this explains by pointing to actual cases. As for "or after desire-realm \[matter\], desire-realm and form-realm unmanifest matter (avijñapti-rūpa) arise": this refers to one whose body is in the desire realm entering the six impure dhyānas. As for "or desire-realm and pure (anāsrava) unmanifest matter \[arise\]": this refers to the six pure dhyānas. Because the two restraints of the Path and of concentration do not arise together, there is no arising of three types of unmanifest matter after the desire realm.
