'Does not benefit those who are liberated': non-returners and arhats are free from craving for physical food, which is called 'liberated'; these non-returners and others are detached from craving for all visible form, scent, taste, and tangibles; although seeing delicious food does not benefit them, eating and drinking scents, tastes, and so forth immediately benefits them.
