俱舍論頌疏論本 7.24

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.24](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1823.7.24)

釋曰：大為大二因者，大種望大種，但為俱有、同類二因。非心所故，無相應因。同無記性故，無異熟因。非是染故，無遍行因。

> Explanation: "The great \[elements\] are two causes for the great": the great elements in relation to the great elements serve only as two causes: coexistent and homogeneous. Because they are not mental factors, they have no associated cause (saṃprayuktakahetu). Because they are equally of indeterminate nature, they have no fruition cause (vipākahetu). Because they are not defiled, they have no omnipresent cause (sarvatragahetu).
