> "Prior to sexual desire is feeling": that is, from five or six years old onwards, up to fourteen or fifteen, one has already understood the distinct characteristics of the causes of the three feelings, but has not yet generated sexual craving. The five skandhas of this stage are collectively named feeling; because the function of experiencing (feeling) is dominant, it is specifically designated with the name feeling.
