- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.36](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1824.1.36)

> From “Grasping these marks of emptiness and giving rise to craving and attachment” downward is fourth, summarizing the faults. Previously it clarified the arising of views regarding emptiness; here it discerns the arising of craving and views regarding emptiness. Craving and views are defilements; through defilements there are karma and suffering. As for “giving rise to various faults regarding ultimate emptiness”: first giving rise to doubt, next generating views, and subsequently giving rise to craving from views—hence they are called various faults.
