> Among objects, there are general and specific. In the general, it says: 'All objects, because they have the nature of non-inversion, the nature of non-contradiction, the nature of conformity, and the nature of leading to culmination, are in conjunction with correct reasoning, teaching, practice, and fruition, and are therefore called yoga.' In this order, the four objects are in conjunction and non-contradictory with reasoning, teaching, practice, and fruition. The cognitive objects of the minds are called 'objects', and that which is realized by the wisdoms is called 'reasoning'. Reasoning is profound and objects are shallow; as for the objects grasped by the mind, the nature of non-inversion means that what is conceptually grasped is nonexistent. Conditioned and unconditioned phenomena exist, and they do not contradict the reasoning realized by wisdom; the self and phenomena exist \[only conceptually\]. Where existence and unconditioned phenomena are regarded as nonexistent, that is the inverted nature of objects, which emotional belief takes as such, yet it is not truly so, because it does not accord with correct reasoning. The non-inverted nature of objects is in conjunction with reasoning; that objects do not contradict teaching, can conform to practice, and can lead to the ultimate fruit may likewise be understood by analogy. Alternatively, the four are precisely the fourfold two truths, because these four objects are jointly in conjunction with reasoning, teaching, practice, and fruition.
