Question: 'If it is said that a female body does not realize bodhi, why does the Lotus Sūtra speak of the dragon girl becoming a Buddha and so forth? How is this resolved?' The interpretation says: nevertheless, that dragon girl also transformed into a male and only then became a Buddha; it was not with a female body that she became a Buddha.
