> Answer: Although ordinary beings do not generate a conceptually constructed self by relying on the Buddha's verbal teachings, they generate a conceptually constructed self by relying on the heterodox false teachings of the non-Buddhists. Ji says: "In the Hīnayāna there is the name, but not the actual entity. This is 'I do not reveal it to the foolish'. Because it is only a name, for all ordinary beings even the name has not yet been given; that is 'I do not disclose it to the ordinary'. If for the Hīnayāna the name already exists, it is simply not elaborated for them; if even the name does not exist, it is also not disclosed to them."
