> Sixth is the gate distinguishing the three realms. In the desire realm there are four: male, female, grief, and suffering. Parts of fifteen: the five faculties of the eye and so forth pertain to the desire and form realms; the life faculty pertains to the three realms; the five faculties of faith and so forth, mind, and equanimity pertain to binding by the three realms and non-binding; the two faculties of joy and pleasure pertain to the desire and form realms and non-binding. Now taking only those of the desire realm, it says parts of fifteen. In the form realm, parts of fifteen: these are the previous fifteen.
