- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [17.68](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1828.17.68)

> Answering the seventh question to clarify the signs of one who has already abandoned afflictions: "Furthermore, seeing forms with the eyes, one is neither joyful nor sorrowful, etc."—these are the six constant dwellings. Furthermore, from "naturally having few desires" onwards, these are the eight thoughts of a great person: 1. few desires; 2. contentment; 3. seclusion; 4. fierce vigor; 5. unforgotten mindfulness; 6. meditative concentration; 7. wisdom; 8. non-proliferation. These are the same as in the \*Sūtra of the Buddha's Bequeathed Teaching\*.
