Now it is explained: leading to what is unbeneficial is the sixth, and being able to lead to what is beneficial is the seventh; therefore it says that after first explaining the seven kinds, it further explains the latter two kinds, hence 'or nine.' The explanation of the nine doors is concluded. Below, the door of concluding remaining alternatives does not appear here: asking from the narrow to the broad is answered following the first alternative; asking from the broad to the narrow is answered following the second alternative; mutually having surplus or deficiency is answered by forming a fourfold alternative, and so forth.
