瑜伽論記 2.150

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.150](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1828.2.150)

常常時恒恒時者，謂從前際來因中常有果性故云常常時，向後際去亦恒有故云恒恒時也。雨眾外道者，謂數論師之大弟子十八部主，雨時生故名雨，彼之徒黨名眾。

> 'Always, at all times, and constantly, at every time' means that from the past extremity onward, the nature of the effect always exists in the cause, hence 'always, at all times'; going toward the future extremity, it also constantly exists, hence 'constantly, at every time.' As for 'the Rain-Crowd (Varṣagaṇya) outsiders,' it refers to the eighteen school masters, the senior disciples of the Sāṃkhya master; because \[their teacher\] was born during the rainy season he was called 'Rain,' and his followers were called 'the Crowd.'
