瑜伽論記 2.151

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.151](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1828.2.151)

彼計法略為三，中為四，廣為二十五諦，除神我諦中間二十三諦名果，自性名因，果住因中仍無別體，如金為璫，雖因果相殊更無別體，名因有果。

> The phenomena they posit are briefly three, moderately four, and extensively twenty-five principles (tattva). Excluding the principle of the spiritual self (puruṣa), the middle twenty-three principles are called 'effects,' and primordial nature (prakṛti) is called 'the cause.' The effect abides in the cause and yet has no separate substantial entity, just as gold becomes an earring: although the marks of cause and effect are distinct, there is no other separate substantial entity; this is called 'the cause possessing the effect.'
