- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [22.59](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1828.22.59)

> The second \[section\] explains by way of origin, having four occurrences of "furthermore." The first says: "It means that one should state the basis, and in order to reveal one's own all-pervading intellectual power, one initiates this sūtra"—earlier it explained that origin has three: first, relying on matters; second, relying on times; third, relying on persons to preach the Dharma of the sūtras, hence it is called origin. Now it clarifies that the Tathāgata possesses the all-pervading intellectual power, needing to know what relies on matters and relies on persons, and therefore preaches this teaching.
