瑜伽論記 3.47

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.47](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1828.3.47)

施自性者，謂思所起。能捨所施物身業語業者，對法唯識俱取三業思并無貪為性，今以無貪說為因緣，以思說在等起門中故。自性中取身語業，據表外彰三乘通論，故唯身語不說意業。

> Regarding "the self-nature of giving": it refers to what is generated by volition. As for physical karma and vocal karma that are able to relinquish the given objects, both the \*Abhidharmasamuccaya\* and \*Triṃśikā\* take the volition of the three karmas together with non-greed as the nature; here, non-greed is stated to be the causal condition, and volition is stated within the gateway of origination. Taking physical and vocal karma within the self-nature is based on what is manifested externally as a general discussion across the three vehicles; therefore, it speaks only of physical and vocal \[karma\] and does not mention mental karma.
