> Answer: The increase of delusion originates from wrong view, and wrong view necessarily increases delusion; where there is wrong view there must be delusion, but where there is delusion there is not necessarily wrong view. The course of karma mentions the supported \[dharma\], calling it wrong view without speaking of delusion; obtaining the fruit mentions the supporting base, calling it delusion without speaking of wrong view. These two gates implicitly complement each other, letting one know that the course of karma is uniquely wrong view, whereas delusion applies broadly to dull dispositions and therefore is not termed a course of karma.
