> In the former there are three parts: first, stating the two nourishments; next, individually explaining them; and afterwards, explaining that the two nourishments are faulty and faultless. In the explanation, there are six phrases regarding difficulty: 1. receiving food and drink but conversely becoming emaciated with hunger; 2. seeking unlawfully, and having obtained it, becoming attached; 3. after eating, the body being heavy and sluggish, unfit for cultivation and eradication; 4. having eaten, the mind being dull, not quickly attaining absorption; 5. having eaten, breathing is difficult and strained; 6. having eaten, being troubled by drowsiness and sleep. Absence of difficulty is the opposite of this, also having six phrases.
