- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [6.295](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1828.6.295)

立四句者，一、自往還正知；二、所應往還正知；三、往還知時，謂若乞食過午已去非往還時；四、如是如是應往還，謂往還所應為事，若為自身衣食療病等事是應往還，若為生煩惱緣非應往還。

> Formulating the four propositions: 1. clear comprehension of one's own going and returning; 2. clear comprehension of where one should go and return; 3. knowing the time for going and returning, meaning that if it is past noon when begging for food, it is not the time to go and return; 4. going and returning in such and such a manner, meaning the matters that should be done when going and returning: if for the sake of one's own robes, food, curing illness, and so forth, it is appropriate to go and return; if as a condition for generating defilements, it is not appropriate to go and return.
