瑜伽論記 7.79

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.79](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1828.7.79)

覺了遍身息者，初觀息時唯在鼻端，後觀成時能知彼息遍身入出，故得覺名。息除身行者，身行謂出入息，令息除之，名息除身行。

> 'Perceiving the breath throughout the whole body' means that when first contemplating the breath, it is only at the tip of the nose; later, when the contemplation is accomplished, one can know that breath entering and exiting the whole body, so it receives the name 'perceiving.' In 'calming the bodily formation,' the bodily formation refers to inhalation and exhalation; causing them to be calmed is called 'calming the bodily formation.'
