> In explaining skillfulness in the aggregates: 'What is the ideation aggregate? It refers to with signs, without signs,' and so on: ideation taking conventional truth as an object is called 'with signs'; ideation taking ultimate truth as an object is called 'without signs.' Furthermore, taking the paratantra and pariniṣpanna dharmas that have real entity as objects is called 'with signs'; taking parikalpita dharmas that have no real entity as objects is called 'without signs.' Taking the desire realm \[as an object\] is called small signs; taking the form realm is called vast; taking the spheres of space and consciousness is called boundless; the sphere of nothing whatever and so on is the sphere of nothingness.
