瑜伽論記 8.408

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [8.408](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1828.8.408)

自下第二明發心因緣，景云：四緣是疎，四因是親，即此因緣和合有勢用故名四力。基又云：緣疎因親力為助伴，通明因緣二種故有三別。

> From here on, the second \[part\] clarifies the conditions and causes for generating the mind. Jing says: The four conditions are distal, and the four causes are proximal; because this combination of causes and conditions has efficacy and power, they are called the four powers. Ji also says: Conditions are distal, causes are proximal, and powers serve as auxiliary companions. Generally clarifying the two kinds, causes and conditions, there are thus three distinctions.
