> Regarding the abodes of the deities, it specifically marks four deities who each dwell on one terrace. The four great heavenly kings dwell on Mount Yugaṃdhara. The Kośa verse says: "Firm-Handed, Garland-Bearer, / Ever-Proud, and the hosts of the Great Kings, / Dwell in sequence on the four terraces, / And also dwell on the other seven mountains." In that text there is no deity with blood-stained hands, and the names "intoxicated" and "proud" are also different; the traditions differ, for pride implies intoxication, so though the names differ, their essences do not conflict. The sequences are also different, and likewise cannot be harmonized.
