Regarding the ten kinds: first, “having the desire to comprehend the reality of objects”; second, “delighting in hearing the Dharma”; third, “promptly raising questions”; fourth, “hearing profound Dharma meanings never heard before”; fifth, “clarifying and purifying the Dharma meanings and removing previous doubts”; sixth, “being able to see the faults and deeply detesting worldly prosperity”; seventh, “not generating yearning for worldly prosperity”; eighth, “generating correct aspirations in order to eliminate phenomena leading to bad destinies”; ninth, “cultivating wholesome phenomena in order to eliminate afflictions”; tenth, “generating correct aspirations in order to obtain that fruit and purify the mind”. Through these, liberation is gradually perfected.
