Among the seven divisions, excluding solitary gāthā recitations, the remaining six divisions of teachings are the meaning of the sūtras to be reflected upon. Solitary recitation of gāthās is the meaning of the gāthās to be reflected upon, and this has three kinds: "Ultimate truth gāthās" elucidate the principle of selflessness. "Intention gāthās" explain the intention of the gāthās, such as the four intentions.
