- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [10.364](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1830.10.364)

> The Commentary states: Fourth, rejection and establishment. In the first ground, it is not that one does not penetrate all ten tathatās; but because they are not yet complete, they are established successively later. Hence ten kinds are established, because the practices and stages are ten. The name of fully perfected tathatā is completely comprehended in all ten aspects only up to the Tathāgata, as analyzed extensively in the Madhyāntavibhāga-bhāṣya. In explaining the root verse, there is first a summary, followed by an extensive exposition. Within the extensive exposition, there are two parts: first, explaining the causes of realization; second, explaining what is realized. Although there were four distinct sections above—namely the ten grounds, the ten superior practices, the ten obstacles, and the ten tathatās—they all collectively constitute the first part: explaining the causes of realization.
