成唯識論述記 6.116

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [6.116](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1830.6.116)

述曰：五根、五力、七覺、八道支中別說故。定非即心，如念、惠等。念、惠等法，彼體是思，然非即心，故以為喻。此中比量如文可解，亦如《正理論》第十一廣闡。

> The Commentary states: This is because they are separately stated among the five faculties, the five powers, the seven limbs of awakening, and the eight limbs of the path. Concentration is not itself mind, just as mindfulness, wisdom, and so forth \[are not\]. For that school, the substance of factors such as mindfulness and wisdom is volition (cetanā), yet they are not themselves mind; therefore they are used as an example. The formal inference (anumāna) here can be understood from the text, and is also expounded extensively in fascicle eleven of the \*Nyāyānusāra\*.
