- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [6.33](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1830.6.33)

> The Commentary states: Concluding what has been clarified above is the third passage. Now, refuting the Sautrāntikas and others who say there are no separate mental factors, this clarifies that these five all arise whenever mind arises, as cited and proved in fascicle 1 of the Prakaraṇāryavācā. As for the remaining five—desire and so forth—sūtras do not state their omnipresence, and reasoning shows they do not arise universally; hence they are subsumed under the specific-sphere factors. The natures and activities of the five dharmas of contact and so forth are directed to the explanations in the third fascicle above. The meaning of the remaining ones not being omnipresent will be understood below; this concludes the preceding and introduces what follows. This completes the explanation of the first line of the verse.
