成唯識論述記 7.39

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.39](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1830.7.39)

述曰：睡眠思、想二法為體。何以然者？思、想種種夢之境故。由此亦有依餘上立。何以知此二各別依？由此二法無別有體。一、以理，如前說故；二、以教，故知無別體。

> The Commentary states: Sleep takes the two dharmas of volition (cetanā) and ideation (saṃjñā) as its substantial reality. Why is this? Because it wills and conceives the manifold objects of dreams. Because of this, it is also established based on other \[factors\]. How is it known that these two individually depend \[on them\]? Because these two dharmas have no separate substantial reality: first, through reasoning, as explained above; second, through the teachings, one therefore knows that they have no separate substantial reality.
