This is Dharmapāla's explanation of the fourth line, which concurrently dispels external objections. Sthiramati explains nominal, real, and so on accordingly. This is what was explained in the first fascicle regarding "transformation" as turning and changing; between the two masters, this is the doctrine of the first master Dharmapāla and of master Sthiramati. Transformation applies to both nimitta and darśana, yet there are differences of existence and non-existence, as explained in the first fascicle: based on the transformed darśanabhāga, the real grasper is eliminated; based on the transformed nimittabhāga, the real grasped is eliminated; as appropriate, the two graspers are absent.
