成唯識論述記 7.9

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [7.9](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1830.7.9)

述曰：於五、七、八識及上二界，全多分無故。此先舉觸，作用先故，如前已說。既不定染、善，不遍一切心，應是別境。

> The Commentary states: Because in the five, seventh, and eighth consciousnesses and in the two higher realms, they are entirely or largely absent. Here contact is cited first because its function comes first, as explained previously. Since they are not determinate as defiled or wholesome, and are not omnipresent in all minds, they ought to be specific-object factors.
