> The Commentary states: Fourth, the section distinguishing the three natures to refute heterodox imputations. The fifty-ninth fascicle of the Yogācārabhūmi states: 'A portion of the afflictions of the desire realm is unwholesome, and the rest belonging to the upper two realms are indeterminate.' This means that delusion only extends to the unwholesome and indeterminate natures; it does not say that it extends to the wholesome. How then could one say that within a wholesome mind there is dharmagrāha? Because dharmagrāha must be accompanied by delusion. The fourth fascicle of the Abhidharma-samuccaya also states: 'Afflictions of the desire realm that can instigate evil actions are unwholesome, and the rest are veiled-indeterminate.' How then could one say that delusion extends to the wholesome? If they defend their position by saying: 'Samsāra and the tainted are all subsumed under the unwholesome, so they must have delusion:'
