> The Commentary states: Fascicle forty-seven states that in a single instant they realize a hundred samādhis; with the pure divine eye they see Buddha-lands, see a hundred Tathāgatas, shake a hundred world systems, their body can also go to those Buddha-worlds, emit great radiance and so forth, transform into a hundred classes to make others see universally, mature a hundred kinds of sentient beings to be transformed; if they wish to sustain life they can abide for a hundred kalpas, see the events within a hundred kalpas of the past and future; their wisdom-vision can enter a hundred gates of Dharma-illumination; they emanate a hundred bodies, and each body can manifest a retinue of a hundred bodhisattvas. That is, having mastery over ten sets of a hundred is called "many hundreds of gateways".
