成唯識論述記 9.76

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [9.76](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1830.9.76)

> The Commentary states: By this line of reasoning as stated above, only in the two classes of sāsrava citta, the sixth and seventh, is there that which is capable of parikalpita. The fifth and eighth are named 'consciousnesses'; because no text has been seen stating that they are subsumed under the mental consciousness, the fifth and eighth are not capable of parikalpita. Such interrogations follow the seventh \[fascicle\] of the Buddhabhūmi\[-śāstra\], inquiring into the two hindrances; below, in \[the section on\] the two hindrances, they will be distinguished and debated in their own right. This then broadens \[the explanation of\] the two characters 'parikalpita' above. Below, it broadens the words 'this and that' above.
