> Again, it is generally divided into three: namely, object, practice, and result. The first twenty-five verses clarify the object of consciousness-only; the next four verses clarify giving rise to the practice of consciousness-only based on the object; the final one verse \[clarifies\] obtaining the result of consciousness-only based on the practice. Within distinguishing the object, conventional and ultimate truths are clarified. Twenty-four verses clarify conventional truth; the next one verse clarifies ultimate truth. Clarifying conventional truth is divided into two: first, designation; then, explanation—as explained under the three divisions of characteristics, nature, and stages. The three divisions just mentioned are as explained in the commentary.
