成唯識論掌中樞要 2.221

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.221](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1831.2.221)

攝事分中說十二分逆觀中。生支及識等五。皆是老死集。即苦．集體同者。集有二種。一招感異熟名集。即決擇說。唯業．煩惱。二能生苦果名集。攝事品中生支等是。二論雖別不相違也。

> In the \*Vastusaṃgrahaṇī\*, regarding the reverse contemplation of the twelve links, the link of birth and the five \[links\] beginning with consciousness are all the origination of aging-and-death; that is, the essences of suffering and origination are the same. Origination is of two kinds: first, that which summons and attracts vipāka is called origination, which is what the \*Viniścaya\* explains as being only karma and afflictions; second, that which can produce the fruit of suffering is called origination, which is the link of birth and the rest in the \*Vastusaṃgrahaṇī\*. Although the two treatises differ, they do not contradict each other.
