> Answer: Both are without fault. Why? When looking at India, the name and meaning of a single thing contain multiple senses. For instance, Śakra has a full thousand names. The former explanation is based on the voice progressing through periods, from which words and meanings arise; thus it is called eight inflections or eight periods. The latter explanation relies on one's own longing for the Dharma, from which the nature of the teaching arises; thus it is said to "fall into desire accordingly."
