- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.697](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1833.2.697)

初之三種體皆一物，顯有分位非體成多。次空等四，即四無色所依之處。別有無為是滅所攝，要得此滅依之方生彼，能依細五蘊自是無常，所依四無色而是常住。

> The first three are all of one single substance; they represent stages of manifestation, not a multiplicity of substances. The next four, space and so forth, are the bases of the four formless realms. There is a distinct unconditioned dharma subsumed under cessation: one must obtain this cessation, and relying upon it, one then takes birth there; the subtle five aggregates that rely upon it are naturally impermanent, but the four formless realms that serve as the basis are eternal.
