成唯識論演祕 5.105

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [5.105](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1833.5.105)

釋曰：「等」言，等彼純苦鬼畜，彼中賴耶雖有捨受，為餘識中苦受猛盛，映奪不現，故言苦受，一向苦受，據容受言，略不云捨。

> Explanation: The word "and so on" includes those hungry ghosts and animals of pure suffering. In their state, although the ālaya\[-vijñāna\] possesses neutral sensation, because the unpleasant sensation in the other consciousnesses is intense and violent, it eclipses \[the neutral sensation\] so that it does not appear; therefore it speaks of unpleasant sensation. Purely unpleasant sensation is spoken of in terms of capacity to receive; it simply omits mention of neutral \[sensation\].
