唯識二十論述記 1.283

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.283](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1834.1.283)

述曰：以執唯識識，是執法識，餘此既有實境，如何名唯識？然我宗中，識無心外實有之境，名為唯識。故執唯識亦法執收。《成唯識》說：若執唯識，亦是法執。

> The Commentary says: Because the consciousness grasping vijñapti-mātra is a consciousness that grasps phenomena, if there were a real object outside this, how could it be called vijñapti-mātra? However, in our system, that consciousness has no real object outside the mind is called vijñapti-mātra. Therefore, grasping vijñapti-mātra is also subsumed under phenomenal attachment. The Cheng weishi lun says: 'If one grasps vijñapti-mātra, that too is phenomenal attachment.'
