唯識二十論述記 2.66

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.66](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1834.2.66)

述曰：將釋上二句頌，先發端標起，此中無難。但有徵詰外人所說無合理趣。理謂義理；趣謂意趣。雙徵義意，故詰理趣。或趣即理，理是能緣，意所趣故。

> The Commentary says: About to explain the first two lines of the verse, this first introduces and marks the beginning. Here there is no objection \[yet\], but merely an interrogation of the reasoning of non-conjunction asserted by the opponent. 'Principle' (lǐ) refers to the doctrinal sense; 'purport' (qù) refers to the intended meaning. Both the doctrinal sense and the intended meaning are interrogated together, hence 'interrogate the reasoning'. Alternatively, the purport is itself the principle; the principle is the cognitive object (grāhya), where the intention aims.
