> Fifth, the elimination and establishment of the six categories: relying on the Yogācārabhūmi, the caitta-dharmas are briefly eliminated and established through four criteria. The four criteria are: first, domain (pada); second, plane (bhūmi); third, time (kāla); fourth, all (sarva). ‘Domain’ refers to the three natures; ‘plane’ refers to the nine planes; ‘time’ refers to moment-to-moment continuity; ‘all’ refers to co-arising. Now, with reference to these four criteria, it will be clarified how many \[each category\] possesses. In this there are two parts: first, clarifying how many criteria the six categories possess; second, clarifying the reasons for the elimination and establishment of the six categories.
